new @zoongideewin record kicks off w a track we made together in winnipeg’s north end exactly one year ago. Skitty Popes was there, JP was there, and then @ombiigizi rolled in and took it to level II. i encourage you to crush this on your drive home or wherever you are, just the same as the 1000 @canadadry.canada club sodas we crushed while making it.

New @poisonsuckers review straight outta' Hungary!!! Rnr666 Magazine @rnr666 (Link for the original hungarian text below)translated here
A few weeks ago, I received an email from a completely unknown Canadian band asking me to send my mailing address so they could send me their new single. That kind of thing is getting rarer these days, so I was surprised. The record arrived, I opened it, and my first reaction was: Wow, this cover looks amazing! Honestly, I find myself taking it out every few days just to look at it—it somehow lifts my mood and makes me feel good.
On the back, only two musicians are listed—Jo Jo Rodriguez and Joe Warkentin—and four songs.
The first track hit me so hard I was left blinking in shock! It’s massive, full-on action rock—think MC5 or Sonic’s Rendezvous Band—but played with the raw energy of something like The Oblivians. I was completely sold right there.
Then comes the next track, which channels ’60s girl-group pop—sweet and syrupy—but delivered with loud, lo-fi grit. By the end of it, I had a new favorite singer.
Side B opens with a country/hillbilly punk track, something like a few songs from one of my favorite bands, the Canadian Demon’s Claws.
And it closes with a wild, Kinks-style proto-rocker called I’m A Zero. For me, this collection of songs is pretty much perfect, so this record will definitely be in my Top 10 of 2026!

GREY CUP SHOW ALERT! Hey yall! I know I posted this fit yesterday but I just love this jacket( different pose) that my very talented fashion designer cousin made for me (@prettywindydesigns ), for my first Juno experience in 2020. I had been away from music for almost a decade so to be ushered into this industry so fast, from my perspective, was intense, at times I didn’t know if I could do it, my janitor job before was very calm. Grateful for that time. I’m also here to promote a show that l’m playing for the @greycupfestival I’m excited to blast some new innovative indigenous music with my Winnipeg trio group, full of natives and Metis.
Miigs @paquinartists for being my agent and to the staff for believing in me and my weird sounds. Catch me at 5:00pm at the grey cup festival Thursday November 13th!

Baamaapii!
