There are fashion shows. There are art galleries. And then there are experiences like Fabricated Thoughts, where the line between the two disappears.

Created by designer and multidisciplinary artist Canvas Whitfield (@septymber_), Fabricated Thoughts transformed an exhibition space into a gallery of living installations. Instead of garments passing by in seconds on a runway, visitors were invited to slow down. Models stood as living sculptures among framed photography, allowing every stitch, texture, silhouette, and story to be experienced at its own pace.
Through four collections—Still Water Runs Deep, To Weather the Storm, More Than a Mug Shot, and The Ruach: What Manner of Man Is This?—the exhibition explored perseverance, redemption, healing, faith, and the resilience of the human spirit.

For ELEVE Magazine, the evening offered another perspective. Rather than documenting a runway, our cameras documented stillness. Every installation became an opportunity to discover new angles, new compositions, and new stories hidden within the garments and the performances.
Cloud and members of Elevated Society— @kamyia_monet , @ace.runway , and @_alante —were honored to experience the exhibition alongside an incredible community of photographers and creatives. One of my favorite moments was unsuccessfully trying to make one of the male models break character. No matter what was happening behind the camera, he never cracked—a testament to the professionalism and discipline every living exhibit demanded.
It’s those unseen moments that make productions like this unforgettable.

The laughter between frames. The excitement after capturing the perfect shot. The trust between artist and model. The shared understanding that, for one evening, everyone in the room was helping tell the same story.
Fabricated Thoughts wasn’t simply an exhibition about clothing. It was a reminder that fashion can become testimony, performance, sculpture, and conversation—all at once.
