Meet our lovely VP of Membership, Daja Griffin, and her best piece of advice for Formal Recruitment! 💌

“Dear PNMs,
I am so incredibly excited for y’all to make the jump to find your forever home! Recruitment is such a special experience that, while exciting, can bring a lot of uncertainty and overwhelming emotions. My biggest piece of advice to you is to be true to yourself. Don’t try to “fit in” to what you think a certain chapter wants. The right chapter should be one where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to be your most authentic self.
At Kappa Kappa Gamma, we are elated to meet and get to know you, not just your accomplishments or activities, but who each of you are as individuals. We hope you feel welcomed and celebrated throughout your time with us. Kappa has given me amazing memories, friendships, and opportunities that will last a lifetime.
Remember, there is no “perfect” way to go through recruitment. Everyone has a different experience, so trust your instinct and keep an open mind. Enjoy every moment of the next few days. We cannot wait to hear your story and share with you what makes Kappa so special to us. I hope you have the best recruitment experience, and know that we are cheering you on every step of the way!
With love and loyalty,
Daja Griffin”
