🥇 Double Celebration 🥇

@_daniela_roux and @lauraschiavox … you did it!!

Completing their very first marathon - and making it the iconic @londonmarathon - is an incredible achievement, but doing it in memory of their beautiful mum, after losing her last year to secondary breast cancer, makes it even more powerful.

Daniela, who was diagnosed with breast cancer herself, took part in the first UK @bold_exhibition in London back in 2023. Since then, it has been an absolute privilege to get to know her and share so many wonderful and life-changing moments.

Being able to offer these two sisters places in the Pink Ribbon Foundation's first ever official London Marathon team was incredibly special ✨️

You supported each other every step of the way through months of training, and it was so special to see you cross the finish line side by side, holding hands, with the exact same finish time - such a beautiful moment 💕 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

You showed strength, resilience and so much love - raising (already) just under £10,000 for our charity, which is an amazing achievement and double your original personal target!!

Every mile, every moment, done with purpose - for your mum, and for everyone affected by breast cancer 🎀 Remarkably, every time we spotted you along the course, and even in these photos, you both have the biggest smiles. You made it look easy!

So beautiful to see you both with your dad at the finish ➡️ last photo 💗

We are so proud of you both. Truly inspiring 🙏

THANK YOU to @axematic for kindly personalising our runners Team Pink Ribbon vests and t-shirts 🙏

So incredibly proud of my amazing cousins 💖

Running the London Marathon is an unbelievable achievement in itself, but what they’ve overcome makes it even more inspiring. After losing their mum last year, and with one of them having bravely beaten cancer, today wasn’t just a race — it was a testament to strength, resilience, and love.

You both showed what it means to keep going, no matter what life throws at you. Truly inspirational💗

First time attending to a marathon but most importantly cheering for you two was deffo a moment I will treasure forever. You both DID it girls! Your angels above were CHEERING you on! We all were! 🙌🏽❤️

There is something special about the london marathon. The energy, the atmosphere, the emotions. Everyone has a story and we are there supporting cheering that emotion.

I welled up seeing people run with messages on their back “for you mum” or running for a charity. You’re all incredible ❤️

This one is for her 🙏

Wishing you both the very best of luck today - we’ll be cheering you on from start to finish 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️✨️🥇

Running the @londonmarathon is straightforward - you just follow the road.

Spectating?

Thats a strategic operation involving live tracking, crowd dodging and a PHD in London navigation!

🎀 Meet our Runners 🎀

Next up, meet @_daniela_roux and her sister @lauraschiavox, taking on the @londonmarathon in honour of those they love.

“Breast cancer has been part of our family’s story since 2010. After losing our mum in 2025 and facing my own diagnosis in 2022, we’re running for her, for our auntie, and for every cancer warrior - driven by hope, strength, and a future where no family has to go through this,” Daniela.

Their strength, resilience, and determination embody exactly why we do what we do at the Pink Ribbon Foundation 💗

Please join us in cheering them on and supporting their journey and if you can, donate to their fundraising page below:
