✨✨THANKSGIVING AND OTHER STUFF THAT I HAVEN’T POSTED YET✨✨

GRATITUDE has helped me a lot because November was by far my WORST month of 2024 — working on @kamalaharris’ presidential campaign and her election loss and @mancity on a losing streak is truly DEPRESSING.

BUT IT TRULY HAS HELPED ME to list and reflect on what I’m grateful for — both the blessings and tender mercies that I get every single day and larger blessings that are a part of who I am and my life.

THERE ARE THE RECENT THINGS — hanging out with my brother in DC and NYC, pretending that I’m an @f1 driver, LOTS of retail therapy, spending time with friends while eating yummy food, seeing @sabrinacarpenter live, actually winning a Manchester City fan competition, and celebrating Filipino American History Month with old and new friends at the @whitehouse, donating to a @lighttheworldgivingmachines, and the color pink.

THEN THERE ARE THE LARGER THINGS — grateful that my brother works at the @brooklynmuseum (which is the coolest), that I went to @nyuniversity and lived in NYC, that I was able to go back to my job in Congress post-election, and that I’m living proof of surviving the death of my mom as a teen (and I’m stronger for it and I can proudly say that I’ve handled every tough thing that has happened after that because of going through the death of a parent).

AND OF COURSE — I’m always grateful to be pretty. And smart. And funny. And empathetic. And well-dressed. And cool. And resilient.
