Pre-orders for @destructionofthehealer's sophomore album, "A Universe Bereaved" are available now via @primitive_moth & @grindheadrecords🌑⚔️ ⚔️Pre-order the CD and stream the tracks "Bestial Hunger", "Sekhmet" and "Immortal Bride" now via - link in bio Grindhead - www.grindheadrecords.bandcamp.com/album/a-universe-bereaved Primitive Moth - www.primitivemoth.bandcamp.com/music Emerging from Wollongong, NSW, Destruction Of The Healer return with "A Universe Bereaved", a journey through worlds consumed by grief, loss and the endless shadow of mortality. A universe left desolate. A realm mourning what has been destroyed. A vision of sorrow where death, mythology and darkness intertwine. Across eleven tracks, the band explore the weight of existence through tales of bloodshed, ancient power and inevitable decay. From the wrath of the Egyptian warrior goddess "Sekhmet" to the eternal devotion and gothic tragedy of "Immortal Bride", the album carves through themes of sacrifice, vengeance and sorrow. "Taste Of Blood" and "Bestial Hunger" unleash the primal violence within, while "The Rot" and "The Great Dying" descend into visions of collapse, extinction and a world left grieving in silence. Closing with "Ad Astra, Amata", the record reaches beyond ruin, carrying the final echoes of love and loss into the stars. Having forged their reputation through devastating live performances across the East Coast, the Wollongong five-piece deliver the same precision and ferocity on record as they do on stage. Every riff, blast and melody serves a greater vision, creating a world that is grief-stricken, bereft and drowning in the aftermath of destruction. "A Universe Bereaved" is a monument to mourning, a soundtrack to forgotten kingdoms, dying worlds and the sorrow left behind when everything is lost. Tracklist: 1. Sekhmet 2. Immortal Bride 3. Taste Of Blood 4. Necrosignature 5. Interlude 6. So Our Kingdom Is Free 7. The Rot 8. Livyatan 9. The Great Dying 10. Bestial Hunger 11. Ad Astra, Amata All Lyrics By Jackson Meldrum Drums, vocals and acoustic guitar recorded by Kane McCarthy Guitar and bass recorded by Jackson Meldrum and Darby Ball Guest vocals on track 10:
