End of August/September recap…

When I got back from Europe, I was kind of feeling bummed for a few days because it was a really magical trip, but then I had such a full and busy September that it made me remember how beautiful my life is here.

There were some pretty low moments emotionally, but I put those into some new songs. Mostly the month was filled with fun performances, getting back into training, working on my album, and spending time with good people.

I’m very grateful for the life that I have here in this crazy city…

Burning man, I will always have deeeeeep playa fomo & immense saudades for you. There is a magic to you that goes far beyond the desert and everyone who’s been dusted by you knows and feels it.

Decided to dig up some pretty classic film from the past few years that make it hard to believe we not there today… despite the live streaming making me feel like I’m at every set 👀

And for you, @liaturiano , I will always have the deepest appreciation for capturing the moments we’d never have without you otherwise.

July things…

I can’t believe it’s already August! I know I haven’t been posting much on this page, so I wanted to give a little recap of life last month.

I had lots of fun performances, worked on music production and creating video art for my next two Lyra Star singles, started writing a new song, got to be on a YouTube show, kept up with training/self care as much as possible, accepted the challenge of eating a Carolina Reaper pepper (watch slide 11 for the best clips of this madness… I was destroyed 🥴), had friends come take my yoga class, went back to pole dance class, and got to do a shibari shoot in nature.

I definitely had a lot of difficult emotional moments that are not pictured here, but all in all, my life has felt quite full. I’m excited to be spending most of this month in Europe… big thanks to everyone that has been a part of my life so far this summer.
