Sometimes you don’t lose yourself all at once.

It happens quietly.

Somewhere between the endless scrolling,
the thoughts that won’t stop
and the days you’re only trying to get through.

Until one day you look into the mirror…

and the person looking back
feels like a stranger.

But maybe she isn’t gone.

Maybe she’s still there —
behind the noise,
behind the darkness,
behind all the versions of herself she had to become just to keep going.

Waiting to be recognized again.

🖤

STRANGER — David Mudra

A visual interpretation inspired by the song, created with the artist’s permission.

“It feels like I’m a stranger to myself.”

Heute also ein Rückblick in Bildern.

My second post of music recommendations from July featuring new release singles as well as recent discoveries & classics revisited.
@_david.mudra_ “Emergency” A great energetic track from the end of July with an upbeat 1980s feel.
@davelee.jn @officialkatherineellis as Raven Maize “Fascinated” A classic revisited from back in 2002 Katherine Ellis is stunning here, this still makes me want to dance.
@prittsofficial “Paradise” A great summer club track featuring powerful vocals from an undisclosed source.
Mory Kante “Yeke Yeke” (Hardfloor Mix) This classic revisited from 1996 is a wonderful nostalgia ride & still hits today.
@madonna & @kylieminogue “ Love Sensation” (After Hours Mix) As soon as I saw their performance together I wanted this track. Here is everything that I needed from a Madonna Kylie collaboration.
@odd_mob “Club Rompas Vol. 2” @thelucianacaporaso “Rock The Rhythm (I Like That)” This updated version of one of my favourite Luciana tracks alongside Richard Vission & Static Revenger/Latroit/Dennis White. Odd Mob have breathed new life into an already great track. Check out the other tracks on this release “Dancing Boys, Dancing Girls” & “Don’t Stop Make That Body Rock”
@pandoranox “FaceTime” feat. @dorah.bpm ok wow! This track is a lot of sexual references wrapped in a club beat. Good, but not for the faint hearted.
@therealeve “Tambourine” A classic revisited from 2007. This just popped into my head one day & I had to listen to it again, & have been all month.
@stanthepratt “Worth Less” Taking someone’s negativity towards them & turning into a great track.
