2024 is almost over... Looking back, these 12 months were a hell of a ride for me — definitely the best this year: THAILAND 🇹🇭, VIETNAM 🇻🇳 and INDONESIA 🇮🇩. 3 countries that couldn’t have been more beautiful, exciting, adventurous and hospitable. 2,5 months packed with crazy, loving, funny and unforgettable moments and the constant feeling of unlimited freedom combined with the best food and most beautiful weather. However, as wonderful as backpacking and exploring new cities, beaches and nature is, it doesn’t work without the right people. I was incredibly lucky to meet the right ones. My time in Southeast Asia would not have been so incredibly wonderful without you guys ❤️. Therefore, and I keep repeating myself after my travels, I would like to thank everyone I met for the amazing time we spent together in these beautiful countries. You made my trip so incredibly special and unforgettable 🫶🏼. I hope to see you again somewhere soon.

🌴🥥 2024 TRAVELS 🌺✨️The year I finally discovered SE Asia ❤️‍🔥 And the year I truley fell in LOVE with the ocean 💙🫧 Can honestly say I have had some of the best days of my life this year, with strangers who have become besties and filled my days with such fun. Super grateful to you all for making me feel loved while solo! 🥰 Grateful to the universe for putting me in the right place at the right time and knowing what is best! Grateful for my body and health for healing me and allowing me to travel AND learn to dive, the best thing in the world! Grateful to myself for being my own best friend and growing more comfortable in solitude. For anyone scared to travel solo in fear of being alone, I dare you to spin that on its head, and see it as an opportunity to learn to love it. Having spent a fair amount of time on my own I have learnt to speak to myself more kindly, and nurture myself when I needed it, which has already impacted me during my home coming. Learning to give yourself the care you tend to seek externeley is super fulfilling and useful. Plus I believe that when you are on your own you open yourself up to more aligned friendship opportunities. 💘

Lombok > Komodo Island > Flores 🌊⛵️🌊 Sailing across 4 days and 3 nights. Started off sleeping on yoga mats with 20 others and ended up sleeping under the stars on the top deck, waking up to stunning sunrises.
We sunbathed on pink beaches, hiked insane sunset spots and snorkled the most impressive coral reefs filled with abundant fishies. We shared travel stories, sung kareoke and played silly games pretending to be vikings and cowboys. We met Komodo dragons, whale sharks and baby sharks. I cried when I said my goodbyes. 🥺
I luckily got onto Kareem the Explorer's trip last minute, 6:30pm the night before due to someone dropping out and THANK GOD because the friendships I have made with these gorgeous humans has been so special. Thank you for the laughs, silliness, dances, games, and connections. My boat family, I love you! 💙
