Life is Amazing.

June was a turning point. 🪐

Not because everything suddenly became easy…but because I started feeling like myself again.

This month brought old friends, new friends, plenty of laughs, meaningful conversations and a reminder that community has a way of finding you when you need it most.

Civitas 2026 - First year in world class and you showed the world that you belong. My heart is so full. Not just as a staff member, but as an alumni (2017, 2018).

I am once again grateful and thankful to @civitas_independent for always giving people a home they can come back to year after year, but I’m even more grateful and thankful to @civitas.snares.

Thank you guys for your trust, your patience, your drive, your sense of humor and most of all, embodying what it means to be ECM. This wouldn’t have been possible without each one of you. Thank you all for pushing me and making sure we stay locked in.

Here’s to 2025,

a lot happened and many memories were made, thank you for those who joined me for the ride and supported me. I appreciate all of you who are actively in my life and for those who once were. I’m super excited for what this new year has in store and the more memories to be made.

Really late post but….

This season meant a lot to me not only because it was a huge milestone for me when I almost didn’t audition from self doubt but also because of the people. The members made me feel at home and welcomed every day I was there, from Friday night Waffle House to lunch at Josh’s house, car rides with the bass’s, Saturday chicken nuggets with team splits and many more. The Staff that helped push me to be the best version of me that I could be, every weekend I came home feeling that I became better and was contributing to something greater than myself.
I also can’t forget finishing of the season with the Highest score in Civitas history and coming home with a silver medal but even with doing that the thing I’ll cherish the most are the memories with the family I made. TIAWAF💜

Civitas 2025 🏠

I’m so incredibly grateful for this group. Not just this organization but this specific group of people. I felt very out of place for a good portion of the season, I am finally happy I have found my place. I have learned so much this season and it has truly made me a better person and a better musician. I’m glad that I got to make more friends I could call family and staff I could call mentors. For my new Civitas family who’ll see this post, I’ll miss you so much.

@civitas_independent you will always be my home.
