Meet Yara Flor (aka WonderGirl), a Brazilian Amazonian who continuously values her mixed heritage and indigenous identity, even in spite of the “gods” she serves. ✊🏽

Happy birthday to a real one 🥳
Looking back at the last 5 years, I am just so deeply grateful for all the adventures and late nights we’ve shared.
From my highest highs to my lowest lows, your support has been unwavering and relentless.
You are so much more than a best friend to me; you are just like a sister.
Thank you for your tenacity and for standing by me through every project, every show, and every milestone.
This friendship is a true blessing, and I feel like I don’t say it nearly enough.
Another year closer to 30, and the celebrations are only getting bigger! 🥂✨

MIA x NYC

Crazy to think I pitched styling/dancing for this shoot before I had the nyc move planned. By the time we shot I moved to the city and got to be in both locations. It’s almost like we manifested this. Shout out to @orilisette and @jeff.posts for bringing me onto their project, I’m so glad we connected. Instantly friends 🥹 shout out for @_deoracle_ for being the absolute best and shooting the entire project last min ❤️ the energy on this set was beautiful

Sourcing fabric for a comic con costume ✨

I brought the client with me so we could find the perfect fabric - and we did! @_deoracle_

is a love letter to our community🖤⚔️🖤

For Latinx Heritage month, we wanted to create something that celebrates the artist, makers, and creatives who continue to make space for one another.

This is our small contribution to that ongoing work… certainly not the only table, just another one to gather around.

🚨part of the proceeds for each night will benefit Hispanic Federation, supporting legal aid, housing, & community relief.

Exactly one day away!😮💕9/17

Tomorrow at Brooklyn Photo Talk, we’re excited to welcome Natalie DeAbreu, a Queens-based writer, photographer, and researcher whose work explores NYC’s post-pandemic rave culture and the communities that thrive within it.
Drawing from her background in anthropology, photography, and years of experience in the advertising industry, Natalie approaches nightlife as both a participant and documentarian. Her work highlights the people, energy, and connections that make these spaces meaningful, while staying grounded in the rave principles of Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, and Responsibility.

Join us for an evening of photography, conversation, and community. Hear Natalie share her work, discuss her creative path, and offer insight into documenting subcultures, building visual stories, and navigating a multidisciplinary artistic practice.

📍 Hope Gardens Community Center
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Free & open to all
Light refreshments and food will be provided.

Come meet fellow photographers, artists, and curious minds for a night of inspiring presentations and dialogue.
