“Though the world is going through a very rough time right now, I still see God working in so many ways in my life as well as others. In this time I feel that God has been teaching me to remain focused on him. Before Miss Rona put us on punishment, life was very busy. To add on to that, I was still in the process of healing and just deepening my relationship with God. So naturally, I felt stuck because with life moving so fast it felt like I barley had any time to really get myself in a better place spiritually and literally in life. My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected by COVID but I can’t ignore how God has been shaping me during this time. My focus has been on him like never before and it was almost as if the world had slowed down just so i had enough time to finally catch my breath lol. I feel that God has been telling me to relax. To calm down and that he is in control. He has been teaching me how to forgive myself and others. He’s been teaching me how to let go and fully rely on him. In this time faith is a huge part of what i’ve been studying out and just how to open my heart to be able to better hear from God. For MONTHS I’ve been in such a good place compared to where I was a while ago and it’s all because of the big man upstairs. Though sometimes it can still feel like it’s hard to hear him and I have no clue what’s next, I’ve learned the importance of truly keeping my attention on him and trusting that through that.. he will lead me & cover me always. i’m so thankful for even the fact that I get to know him and I’m thankful for growth that only he could’ve provided. here’s some scriptures that i have found very useful recently! Psalms 91:14-15 // Philippians 3:13-14 // Proverbs 4:25-27 // and my “baptism scripture” Mathew 6:33! ♡” dob: 8/13/16 _________________________________________ #humansofgod #takeovertuesday
