*ADOPTED!* Happy Father’s Day from sweet Manny! ❤️🐾

At just 3 years old, Manny finds himself looking for a fresh start after being surrendered to the Humane Society of Broward County when his owner no longer had time for him.

Shelter life has been a little overwhelming for this handsome bulldog mix. Manny can seem scared and unsure in his kennel, but once he’s outside, feels the sunshine on his face, and gets a chance to relax, his true personality shines through. He’s sweet, lovable, and so happy to spend time with his people.

Today, Manny is wishing all the amazing dog dads out there a wonderful Father’s Day. And if he could make one wish of his own, it would be that his very own daddy walks through the shelter doors and takes him home forever. ❤️

Please share Manny and help make his Father’s Day wish come true. To follow his journey and meet more adoptable pets, follow @hsbcvolunteers. 🐶🏡💙 #manny #happyfathersday #adoptme #foreverhome #bulldog

8-year-old Olaf is being overlooked because fear is the first thing people see 💔

Olaf came to the Humane Society of Broward County from a rescue in Puerto Rico, and shelter life has been incredibly overwhelming for him. When people stop by his kennel, he lowers his eyes, freezes up, and is often too scared to show them who he really is. But scared does not mean aloof.

On his special day out from the shelter, I got to see little glimpses of the real Olaf. Away from the noise and stress, he started to relax. He explored quietly, rode so politely in the car, accepted gentle love, and even let us dress him up in his little tie, t-shirt, and sunglasses. Those adorable Yoda ears slowly started standing tall instead of flattening from fear. 🥺

Olaf is such a sweet boy. dog. He is a sensitive dog who desperately needs a loving, patient, and secure home where he can finally feel safe enough to blossom. The shelter environment is simply too overwhelming for him, and every extra day there makes it harder for him to shine.

Please don’t make a decision about Olaf based on how he acts in his kennel. The real Olaf is in there… and he is trying so hard to be brave.

If you have room in your heart for a gentle soul who just needs someone to believe in him, please go meet Olaf at the Humane Society of Broward County. 🤍#foreverhome #adoptme #shelterdogsofinstagram #olaf #takemehome

Mac said “camera ready” 📸😄

I’m just 1 year and 7 months old, which means I’ve got all the good young dog energy… zoomies are basically my love language. I’m curious, playful, and always smiling — plus, have you seen this face?!

I’m not really a “Netflix & chill” kind of guy… I’m looking for an active family who wants a built-in adventure buddy. Walks, exploring, car rides — I’m all in.

I can be a little jumpy, but that’s just my age and not having learned all the rules yet. With some structure, patience, and love, I’m going to be the best best friend you could ask for.

I’ve got so much life and love to give… I just need someone to give me a chance 🥺

Come meet me — I promise you won’t forget me! 🖤🐾🤍 #mac #foreverhome #adoptme #shelterdogsofinstagram #pittielove

Hi everyone 💕 Our sweet friend Birdie is searching for her forever home through the @humanebroward, and her story is one that truly tugs at the heart.

Birdie’s dad recently had to make a life change and, with a completely broken heart, had to make the impossible decision to let her go. She doesn’t understand why her world suddenly changed—she just knows she misses her daddy and feels confused about where he went and why everything is different. 💔 Saying goodbye has been devastating for him, and all he wants is to know that Birdie will be loved, cherished, and safe. This holiday season, we’re hoping for a little magic—a new beginning for Birdie and some comfort for the person who loves her so deeply.

Birdie is a 7-year-old domestic short hair beauty with the gentlest soul. She does well with other cats, would be perfectly happy as your one and only, and has even lived peacefully with a dog. She may be shy at first, but with patience, kindness, and the time she needs to feel secure, she will slowly open her heart. Once she trusts you, Birdie becomes the most loyal, cuddly companion—your quiet comfort, your constant, your forever friend.

Please share Birdie’s story far and wide. Let’s help this precious girl find a loving home where her heart can heal and she can finally feel safe again. 🐾💖🐈‍⬛ #birdie #foreverhome #adoptme #sheltercatsofinstagram #homefortheholidays
