Culture Con Day 2

Took the lessons learned from day 1, and showed up ready for all the tea from panels. I was happy to reconnect with locals and make some new connections.

It was amazing to have my ladies with me. We all dominate in what we do, so who knows what we can do together? 🏆

Culture Con Day 1

As the conversations continue around what to do better for next time, I think the most important aspect that the CEO showed is: flexibility and receptivity.

I was on that 2 hour line day one. I still came back day 2 in the downpour. We create spaces like these for people that look like us and want to connect. As a CD, it was inspiring to see.

On this episode of AYO Lab’s Beauty Brief, we’re reflecting on The Hue Affair’s 10-year anniversary with curator Ylorie Taylor. ✨

For a decade, Hue Affair has created space for natural hair to be seen, understood, and celebrated.

When asked about trends in the natural hair community, one thing stood out to Ylorie @browngirlmktg : haircare is personal, there’s always something for someone.

That reality is shaping formulation. Consumers are looking for targeted solutions. Products designed for specific textures, routines, and results, not just broad claims.

At AYO Labs, we help brands translate those needs into intentional formulations that actually perform.

To every beautiful woman who needs a little uplifting , this is for you. 🤎

May this be your reminder to look in the mirror and speak life, love, and kindness into the woman staring back at you. Honor how far she’s come, embrace who she is, and celebrate who she’s becoming.

You are worthy. You are beautiful. You are enough.

Sometimes the love we’re searching for begins with our own reflection. 🪞✨

On this episode of AYO Lab’s Beauty Brief we are discussing @sheamoisture Miami F1 activation.✨

They proved that beauty marketing is no longer just about the product,it’s about the experience.

From live styling and influencer events to real-time product testing in Miami heat and humidity, they showed consumers exactly how Silk Press in a Bottle performs in real life.

Because today’s consumers don’t just want claims, they want proof.

At AYO Labs, we help brands create products and experiences that build real consumer trust.
