Our homecoming weekend looked a little different but it makes my heart happy watching them live their best life. One spent cheering our favorite UWG football on and the other spent on the sidelines with her favorite ❤️💙

Senior Sunday. I'll return to funny posts next week, but in honor of the best photographer capturing my sweet girls with our favorite football players I had to post these. 💙💙💙

It's one of our girls' favorite boys birthday today and we think he's pretty great too!! He is kind, smart, hardworking, more responsible than either Mike or me, handsome and semi funny. 😂 the only thing that I can think of that is terrible is that he actually believes Alabama is superior to UGA. 🫠😡 Today is HIS day which when you live in our world a day about you is hard to come by so we want to celebrate him big. 😂❤️Webster--we love you so much and are praying this is your best year yet! @_drakebentley_

17. 😭❤️ My babies. I've prayed, begged and wished that we could just freeze time or even start over but that doesn't feel like it's going to happen. 😭😭😭

Yesterday, I shared the 13 things I learned parenting from their 13 bday. If you haven't read it, you should. It was good. 😂😂😂 I've learned a few (or 4 more) things the past few years🫣.

14. In addition to your shorts and shirts being too short, your bathing suit bottoms can actually be too small. But you know what? You are young, so wear them while you can. Just remember being classy over trashy wins every single time. How you act in that far too small swimsuit means far more than the actual size of the bottoms.

15. If they don't have your back and your best interest at heart. They aren't your people. Period.

16. Having a big personality and strong personality will bring negativity. Remember what I said about what people think of you is none of your business? It's true. Be YOU. Be who God made you to be. I'd rather you be known for being authentic, real and honest even if it rubs people the wrong way. That's usually their problem anyways, which is none of your business.

17. And, last. (This is for you @_drakebentley_ ) while I definitely did not raise wimps, don't let chivalry die. If he opens the door, carries your heavy bag, wants to bring in the groceries, let him. Remind him often that you could totally do it yourself but let him love you. 💁‍♀️

To my girls, however much you think I love you add a million times more to that. There will be days that everything goes wrong and you will feel like giving up. Don't. You both are smart, beautiful, kind, hard working and resilient. In a million lifetimes, I couldn't create better daughters (plus hg) than you two. I joke a lot about what I'm going to ask Jesus when I get to heaven one day (none of my people better post 🫣) but the truth is that after thanking Him for dying just for me, I'm going to thank him for choosing me to be your mama. Until the day I day, being your mama will always be my best, most favorite title. You two are exactly what we never knew we always wanted. ❤️❤️❤️
