Drew was my best friend. The person I could talk to about anything. No matter how late at night or early in the morning, he would always be there when I needed someone.

The road less traveled is hard to walk, but not for Drew. His Heart was so kind and he chose to put family, friends, strangers ahead of himself. I enjoyed talking through all of our trials and tribulations because even when our situation was unfavorable, Drew brought a light into our conversations that could not be put out.

From being just 2 guys on a baseball team to the friendship I could never forget, It has been an amazing journey. About 2 and a half years ago, I invited Drew to our Wednesday night small group. He came not just because I made him, but because he had a desire in his heart for the truth. I answered all the questions I could and send him to people like Danny, Eli, and Charlie to help him when I didn’t know either. One year later drew was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and and a fire in his sol that could not be put out. As we grew in brotherhood and in faith, I can confidently say Drew is dancing like David in Heaven as we speak.

The day before Drew passed, he asked me if he was saved. This was the quickest yes I had ever given. The next morning I woke up to the sound of him singing praises to the lord in my basement. We went to church as usual and said goodbye in the Grace church parking lot. This goodbye will last as long as my days on this earth. Until I see you again when Jesus calls me home, Love you Drew🤍

“When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

Yesterday marked the end of Drew Von Fisher’s life here on earth. I don’t even know where to begin or how to say everything I want to say. If you knew Drew you knew he was the funniest and most loving guy ever. He always had a smile on his face or something funny to say to cheer you up. His light and love for Jesus shined brighter than his white teeth and his love for his family and friends was so evident.

Drew was compassionate toward everyone and always put others first. He would spend hours working on something for someone knowing he wouldn’t get anything in return. Drew loved working, even in the worst conditions. Drew was smart and quick with a solution for your problems. He found ways to show you light even in your darkest moment. Drew would actually give you his left kidney and then tell you to stop thanking him for it or he would take it back. He showed me what true love was and made me happier than I could ever express.

Drew knew God was his savior and trusted in him completely. He shared Christ wherever he went and constantly lead me to grow closer to God. He died knowing he would wake up in heaven with Jesus.

Drew fisher is the love of my life, and I would give anything to see him again and hear his amazing laugh.

I love you Drew, I will miss you forever (pinky promise)
