A year and a half ago I started working on playing solos for the first time in my life. I think my favorite part of this video is the look of surprise and excitement on my friend @_dan_cargo ‘s face. It’s brought me a lot of happiness to get to create music with so many wonderful people. It’s rad to see myself on stage - completely un-self conscious, reaching for pure expression.

Some of the finest folks aROUND were SWEET enough to grace the stage for our October songwriter showcase. On Friday, October 9th, the one and only @_dan_cargo of @_drift.co will host the show, joined by the fully fantastic @marin.and.rare.company and ever excellent @oliviamarylyon! And of course your lovely MC, @shilohmae, will keep those vibes vivacious.

Be. There.

About Sweet Rounds — This fresh riff on the classic ‘songwriters in-the-round’ format is a relaxed, warm, and conversational event, but it’s also tastefully curated by a rotating featured host artist, so each month’s show is a truly unique experience. The performers share in rich dialogue about the creative process, in between swapping songs, and you may just discover your next favorite local artist.

We are four days out from our big album release celebration at @showbar.pdx with @mrvalesmathclass and @_drift.co 🎉🎈🥳

A few things to remember:
🎂Get your tickets early to save big $$! Even with fees, the advance tix are still $5 cheaper than at the door!

🎂Get to the show early to get a special goody bag! These will only be available to the first 50 paid ticket holders who show up, so buy those tix and plan ahead!
