Handmade crispy regañás from Pan De Olivo, delicate monkfish liver from @portomuinos . A simple combination that brings plenty of flavour to your snack game.

Seriously delicious, seriously Spanish.

✨“Hi it’s Lucy from Broadsheet and this is the week I almost got gout at work.” ✨ Immortalising @broadsheet_syd Dine Out with a permanent spot on the grid. It was very fun and we ate very, very well.

On August 13, Bankston hosted an evening of jazz, in partnership with Design Nature Agency.

The Max Alduca Trio, comprised of double bass, keys and trumpet, performed a moving set in the centre of the Olivia Bossy designed studio. Guests cocooned within her Big Ears lights.

Home made focaccia, hummus, basil-oil infused mozzarella and roasted potatoes (amongst other delicious items) were served by Plated by Roberta, with wine and beer from DRNKS and energy infused Mateo.

Thank you to SIMA for helping us find the perfect trio and to all the guests who told us they were gliding through the night.

See Bankston’s latest blog post to read more about the evening.

Huge Moves, the annual wine gathering presented by leading wine retailer Drnks, is a major highlight on Sydney’s cultural calendar. For this year’s Dine Out festival, the team will once again partner with Ace Hotel for a bite-sized version of the event, with paired snacks and a killer soundtrack. And – we love this – it’s called Small Moves.

Broadsheet’s Dine Out festival is happening from July 20–26, 2026 in Melbourne and July 27–August 2, 2026 in Sydney, with 80 events across the two cities. Book now at the link in bio. 🎥 @acehotelsydney / 📸 @nik_to / @kilnsydney

Ace Through July.

We kick things off this Saturday with vol. 2 of the @pinch.concept designer pop-up. Next week, Mondays with Mates launches at @kilnsydney, bringing together @charley.snaddenwilson and @isobelittle for the first dinner in the series.

Across the month, @solradi0 and @planettriprecords return to the Lobby with a steady rotation of sonics, while DJs soundtrack dinner service upstairs at @kilnsydney.

Later in July, settle in for dinners with Neurotica and @ngeringa, learn the ropes with @noflowersmahjongclub, or join us for the Sensorial book launch.

Throughout the month, drop by for Sip & Snack at Kiln featuring the House of Suntory, daily Happy Hour in the Lobby, and don’t miss @jordangogos’ Ace Accordions installation before it wraps at the end of July.

Find your reason to drop by.

What separates a great restaurant from an iconic one?

It's not just the food. It's not just the service. It's something harder to name - so we let the experts do the talking.
