🎬 THROWBACK THURSDAY: PLAYGROUNDS FESTIVAL TITLES! 🎬

What’s a better way to celebrate our twentieth birthday than with cinematic blasts from the past?

This week we’re looking back at 2011 with extraordinary Playgrounds titles by HEYHEYHEY and Studio Takt. @heyheydehaas

Fun fact: These 2011 titles are recorded live in front of the Playgrounds audience together with the artists and a very bad acting festival director. (Who really didn't know what was happening..)

Round and Round is an experimental mixed-media film exploring anxiety through repetition and material degradation. Shot frame by frame, the camera orbits organic installations as they gradually deteriorate, constructing a visual loop that mirrors compulsive thought patterns. 🌀

🌱 *Heard at Blanc*
A little sonic field trip from our weekend at @blancfest

Because sometimes all it takes is *one phrase* to shift your perspective.
Here are 5 that stayed with us — and rooted themselves in our Growth Lab at Workflower.

✨ Which one hit home for you?

#workflowerinmotion #growth #bcndesign #blancfest2025 #designwithintention

**1. “You can only plan for what is emerging.”**
📍*Thanks @wearecodingsystems*
➤ A beautiful reminder that the best strategies are not rigid — they’re responsive. At Workflower, we design for what’s alive, not what’s fixed.

—

**2. “You are what survives your failures.”**
📍*Thanks @failfastdesign*
➤ Growth is not just success — it’s what endures when things fall apart. We resonate deeply with this slow, steady kind of resilience.

**3. “Strategy today is knowing what to let go.”**
📍*Thanks @goodnessprevials*
➤ In a world obsessed with more, this felt like a radical truth. Choosing what *not* to do can be the most creative act.

**4. “The process usually has better ideas than us.”**
📍*Thanks @_dvein *
➤ A tribute to trust. When we let go of control, the process itself becomes the co-creator. This is how Workflower flows.

**5. “Do you judge your growth from macro or micro?”**
📍*Thanks @stefansagmeister*
➤ When you zoom out, you often see more progress than you thought. Measuring growth at a micro level (like comparing yourself online) can distort the view. Macro gives hope.
.
Special thanks to our beloved community member and friend @carlosjangeles that hosted us in his family house in Vilanova 🙌🤍. Pic n*5

We are happy to unveil our latest addition to Nicholas Berglund - DVEIN @_dvein - a director with two heads: one called Teo and the other Carlos. They work in advertising, music videos, and film, and they love experimentation. Their work is characterized by the hybridization of ideas and techniques that merge the real and the digital, creating projects with a mixed-media approach in which they explore the limits of live action, animation, and CGI in order to develop their own visual and aesthetic language. Check out more of their work - link in bio.
