New Work // Observations: Bad Hand Coffee.

A visual study documenting the daily choreography, creativity, and human connection behind independent coffee culture.

Moving away from highly polished commercial imagery, this photojournalism series strips back the layers of production at @badhandcoffee to explore a space built entirely around community.

These images capture the raw, industrial textures and the art of the roast, focusing on the unvarnished intersection of human ritual and industrial form. It is a quiet look at the physical labor, creative energy, and collective spirit that transforms a warehouse into a vital local hub.

New Work // Observations: Green Label Kitchen.

A documentary study on the geography of modern food production, capturing the intersection of community, craft, and contemporary food culture.

This photojournalism series explores @greenlabelkitchen, a 100% vegan culinary space operating from an industrial warehouse in Bournemouth. Stripping back the facade of modern catering to reveal the tactile reality of the kitchen hub—from the prep line to the local culture surrounding it—these images move past curated plate styling. Instead, the focus shifts to the architecture of the commercial kitchen, the rhythm of physical labor, and the honest, raw textures of plant-based preparation.

Both are Now live on the journal. Link in bio.

All in the centre of #bournemouth,

back to the THANKYOU’s • the venue, @sopleyfarmbakeryshopandpyo 🙌 the brands, established and new, trade stalls, both full time, hobbyists and those who fancied a car boot style of their own with a lifetime of boards and clothing.
