Over 50,000 people around the world have watched ‘A Raven’s Call’. That’s over 2x the number of seats in Madison Square Garden. Pretty insane.

Thank you for the support on this film that means so much to me and many others. Keep watching, commenting, and sharing this Cherokee horror story. Let’s hit 100K next! Much love 🏹❤️

We are honored to announce that ‘A Raven’s Call’ is an official selection in this year’s Pocahontas Reframed Film Festival! And in addition to being selected, the festival asked if they could use a still from our film as the face of this year’s marketing 😱 Thank you to @prsfilmfest for including ‘A Raven’s Call’ in your showcase. We cannot wait to screen it this fall at the @vmfamuseum

Tickets go on sale June 1.

From script to screen: our Cherokee Indian horror film ‘A Raven’s Call’. In this scene, our Raven Mocker is on the hunt and targets John, a Scottish settler in Appalachia. Tawodi investigates after hearing the attack, but finds nothing abnormal. In Cherokee mythology, the Raven Mocker preys on the sick, injured, or dying. It turns invisible when it hunts, and it tortures its victim before removing their heart and consuming it. And the Raven Mocker leaves no evidence behind, leading others to believe the victim died of natural causes. This is why Tawodi finds no blood and no chest wound.

From script to screen: our Cherokee Indian horror film ‘A Raven’s Call’. In this scene, Tawodi rests while guarding his injured friend, Yona, unaware he is being hunted by the Raven Mocker. The Raven Mocker is an evil witch from Cherokee mythology who can use magic to turn invisible while hunting. Utilizing stealth over brute force, the Raven Mocker typically hunts people who are already injured or sick. With Yona suffering from a gunshot wound and Tawodi dealing with an afflicting illness, they make the perfect victims for the Raven Mocker.

On Friday night, we attended the @nevermorefilmfestival! And what an amazing time it was. So wonderful to showcase ‘A Raven’s Call’ to a new audience and watch so many compelling short films. Easily one of the best festival experiences I’ve had so far. Special thanks to Nevermore for selecting our film, the crew for showing up in support, and for all the compliments & great questions. Great venue, food, films, and networking opportunities - what more could you ask for? If you get the chance to attend Nevermore in the future, please do! Watch ‘A Raven’s Call’ on YouTube now! 🐦‍⬛
