🎤🏆 A Decade of Excellence!

For the past 10 years, the Robert N. Murrell Oratorical Competition has been a proud tradition for the Tennessee State University Forensics Team, and this year was no exception!

During the official kickoff for homecoming, 13 members of the TSU Forensics Team took the stage to showcase their public speaking skills. Continuing our tradition of excellence, our students captured 5 of the 6 placements across both divisions.

🏆 Freshman Division

🥇 1st Place: Adaora Onuchukwu — $700
🥈 2nd Place: Nevaeh Walker — $500
🥉 3rd Place: Adelynne Villarreal — $300

🏆 Upperclassman Division

🥈 2nd Place: Jocelyn Floyd — $500
🥉 3rd Place: Edixon Cruz Rivero — $300

We are incredibly proud of all 13 students who competed and represented our program. Their commitment to excellence continue to demonstrate the strength and legacy of TSU Forensics.

It’s been one month since the coolest thing I’ve ever done! ✨Nashville you really showed up and out for Pixie Dusk and for me for the past four years. If you told me a few years ago I would design and host a show at my favorite bar with 90+ attendees AND we raised nearly $250 for DV survivors, I would’ve passed out. I feel so immensely lucky that I got to share a little #heidelcore and a night with each and everyone one of you. The team who worked on this show is AMAZING! And I implore all of you to check each of them out. It felt like one big party instead of work! Don’t worry this won’t be my last show in TN. I’ll be around 👀 so keep an eye out ;). In the meantime after one month of much needed rest 💤 HDubeDesigns is BACK BABY. I am planning my next secret 🤫 project and……LISTING NEW THINGS FOR SALE!!!! See a piece from the show you love? March 4th

A day to honor the activity that has caused me the most pain, sweat, tears, and blood😂 but it also is what made me into who I am today. I couldn’t imagine where I’d be if I didn’t have this beautiful activity.
