For seven days, not a single donation has come to support my own fundraiser. The only support I receive is for the water campaigns I help organize, and I will always continue doing that because people need water. But today, I also need someone to remember that I need help too. As my wedding day gets closer, I find myself unable to afford even the simplest things every bride hopes for. Everything in Gaza has become incredibly expensive, and every day I worry about how I will complete my preparations. Like any young woman, I dream of smiling on my wedding day. I dream of putting on my dress with a heart full of hope instead of fear and constant worry. I never imagined that preparing for the happiest day of my life would feel so heavy. If you cannot donate, please help me by sharing my fundraiser with your friends. One share could reach someone willing to help me, and perhaps be the reason I can welcome this new chapter of my life with a little joy instead of more anxiety. It made my heart break because there are so many talanted artists with many different styles who are available and can make work that actually has character. Me when - Me when red haired goddesses and pathetic small men - me when - . . . Did @_elevenofspades DTIYS, and although it is meant to be redrawn in my style… I instead did the opposite and tried a new style for this one. I’ve been meaning to go back to proper lineart and a more traditional comic-like feel with my illustrations. I love lineart. Finally found a brush that fits me, so now I’m obsessed with lining everything. Didn’t change the composition much cause the original is perfect. Just got a bit carried away with rendering the hair… (like I said, the new brush is making me obsessed with making lines.) . . . ALSO BLANCA, A BIT LATE BUT CONGRATS ON 18K. 🗣️🎉🎊 Ok guys, let’s make it 20. Go check her stuff out, her art is amazing. She has an impeccable taste in niche media and is the god of character art. The sun cried golden tears as Icarus fell earthside. For she had meant him no harm yet couldn‘t help him either. But Icarus smiled as he flew. 🌞🪽 Wow this piece turned out wayyy different than I had first imagined. It started with the idea to turn her hair into clouds. Then I thought she could be a personified sun. Aaaand then it got tragic pretty quickly when I added the tears and Icarus. 😅 But I really love the finished piece and have to thank @_elevenofspades for hosting her #DTIYS (her original is in slide 3).
