I’ve turned down plenty of podcast offers because, honestly, the space feels oversaturated. These days, everyone with a mic thinks they’re qualified, and that’s just me calling it like I see it—Brooklyn style, no shade. But @wristcheckpod ? They’re moving differently.

This week, they launched their Transmission series at @lavictoriasocialclubnyc bringing together over 300 people who truly appreciate luxury watches. The room was full of fly, high-society tastemakers who are still accessible, and it made me pause for a second—why don’t I own a watch? Not because I need one, but because I now understand what it represents.

This event wasn’t about materialism; it was about taste, perspective, and community. Moments like this remind me why storytelling matters—why documenting my journey, my growth, and my evolving eye for the finer things is important. Y’all already know I’m gonna use my voice and my pen to give you the real.

And IF—big IF—I ever did a podcast, it would have to be like what @wristcheckpod is doing. No one is in their lane, and they serve a distinct audience with intention. I love seeing dope things done right, and when I do, I want to be part of it. Appreciate the invite.
