From applied learning at Wichita State to a career at Textron Aviation ✈️

Elyssa Kreutzer, a senior studying marketing communications, built experience through Wichita State’s Technology Industry Engagement Group and NIAR before joining Textron Aviation. Her work and connections there led to a communications co-op for the 2026–27 academic year and a full-time communications associate position scheduled to begin after graduation.

“I’m grateful for the support and guidance from my peers and coworkers that helped lead to those opportunities,” Elyssa said.

“Network when you can. Talk to professors, alumni, and classmates. Opportunities often come from conversations.”
