Last year I wanted to do a Hibachi experience for my birthday in a backyard that I did not have. This year I made sure I had my own backyard. 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Thank you, bestie @chelbian_ for this amazing game idea!! Of course, I introduced it at another Galentine’s dinner and it was perfect.

Rules: Put all the names in a cup and every one goes around the table pulling until they pull their own name. Once you pull your own name, you can blindly pull from the bag. When it’s your turn to pull, you can choose to pull from the bag or steal someone else’s gift. A gift can only be stolen twice. After that, it’s dead. The person who had their gift stolen is simply out of a gift - there is no exchange or pulling from the bag again until it’s their turn.

We had so much fun with this game at both dinners! A lot of the things in the bag came from Marshall’s, TJMaxx, ULTA, BBW, Target, etc. You can even get creative with the gifts!

Let me know if you try this at your next dinner. Either one person can bring all the goodies or everyone can bring a certain amount and put it into one bag! 💗🛍️ #galentinesday #giftgivingideas

This past weekend my family & friends showered me with love in celebration of me graduating from optometry school. It’s been a few years now since I graduated, but I never got a chance to celebrate my accomplishments or walk across the stage. It was a huge SURPRISE! I cried tears of joy for half the party! 🥹

Huge shoutout to my Mommy, who planned it all on her own birthday! A mother’s love is unmatched! 🥰

Thank you to all of my friends & family who helped in any way & traveled hundreds of miles just to celebrate me! I will remember this day FOREVER!

P.S. I still can’t believe every single one of my friends kept this a secret from me. I usually know everything that’s going on! I’ll let this one slide!
