On June 1st of this year, I once again had the pleasure of working with the impeccable vocal ensemble Resonant @resonant_vox , at the legendary Evergreen Studios @evergreenstudiosla in Burbank, CA. We recorded one of the next releases by The Immersive Choir project @theimmersivechoir , my a cappella piece “Agnus Dei” from my larger 7-part work “Requiem”. Originally written for the Los Robles Master Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Lesley Leighton @choral_notes , this is the first time it has been performed and recorded since its premiere on March 10th, 2019.

Recorded and mixed by the one-and-only John Witt Chapman @witt.witt.witt and by 2nd engineer Shade Tramp @shadetramp. ProTools by Hannah Kacmarsky @rosecolorednoise and booth reading by Phil Rapa @philrapamusic. Look for the audio and video release everywhere later this year. For more music and information, visit jasperrandall.com and theimmersivechoir.com.

I am incredibly grateful to have worked with so many wonderful humans and talented artists in the making of this project. I learned so much through this process and connected with so many wonderful new folks. Thank you to everyone who was a part of it and everyone who came to see the show and engaged in the programming. Special thank you to @ceninye for being an incredible collaborator and to @thegibran @zolt.45 @pipersnowber @bawdenka and so many others for all the conversation and support. Thank you to @nataliejankins for the interest and investment in the project. Thank you to @comrade_panda for the wonderful contribution to the discussion. Thank you to @bodock_account for hosting the project and believing in the vision. Thank you to everyone back home for a foundation in community that will always move with me.

I really hope to use this project moving forward to platform as many voices as possible and bring forward a new, critical, and hopeful perspective to community and collective embodiment. Anyone who is interested in joining the conversation please reach out. This exhibition was only a starting point for the project and revealed so many ways in which this work will continue to unfold. Looking forward to a future of community and porch building.

all glory to God.
