Happy Valentine’s Day - the perfect day to continue to gush my love for 2024 KCP couples!💌🤍

Becca & Griffin - I remember being at Becca’s bachelorette party (which is still hilarious honestly - so grateful for such a fast friend!!) and listening to her stories from her early days with Griffin, and just knowing these two were going to live such a beautiful life because of their commitment to each other & to marriage. Capturing their day felt second to being their biggest cheerleader (and head coach of getting them to cocktail hour)🫡

Paige & Jake - Big hearts who made such lovely impact in the smallest of moments the whole process🤍

Jess & Joey - I’ve said before how hot their day was (98° summertime) even though we forget what hot Chicago days feel like right now., but these two had the highest of spirits and brought such incredible energy with them all day long. Highlight of their weekend was FaceTiming them while getting ready for their rehearsal - Jess’ towel wrap and all I had the best weekend at their chi town garden party!!

Kristin & David - Perfect weather day for a perfect couple and their perfect guests with a perfect vendor team. I’ll always remember your day so, so fondly.

Michelle & Jackson (Katy) - Their day felt like a fairytale and that’s just how Katy (and I) will remember it.

Jhana & Josh (Katy) - Fro our very first phone call, we KNEW J & J were our people. We had the most fun working with them and bringing their vision of their happiest ever day and dang good party to life.

Lauren & Mason - Air and water show day baby! Dang I will never forget those blue angels flying straight over them during their first look and the power of that moment.

Harshita & Sean - We all pretty much went to war this day lol and yet somehow when I look back at it I’ll just remember it with nothing but the pure joy in their smiles during their barrat.

Emma & Austin (Katy) - Katy got to spend the whole weekend with these two and their stellar vendor team - I’ll never forget voice memoing Katy once getting their memory cards freaking out at how dang perfect they are and how beautifully she captured them.

Hello, loves – it’s Olivia! Our Noelle handles our day-to-day OFW social media (she rules), but it’s nice to pop in as the founder/owner and share a bit, too.

As a broader OFW team, we executed 44 weddings across Chicagoland, and I am incredibly proud of my team. Thank you, Noelle, Kirsten, and Katie. You make this job and this business so easy and so, so worth it.

I’m feeling wildly nostalgic as the year comes to a close – it’s probably because I’m seeing the holiday season through my 2-year-old’s eyes (🥹🥹), but ALSO, I just had the best seventh (!!!) season with my clients. Personally, I worked with ten beautiful couples throughout the year and helped them bring their dreams to life. We brought color, joy, and magic to every single wedding day, and I couldn’t be prouder of my 2024 season.

When I first started my business, I got some incredible advice from a dear friend. She said, “Look back at the images from weddings you plan and see what you’re drawn to. That’s the heart of your business.” I consider her advice constantly, and as I went through images from those 10 2024 events, it’s the couples that I’m drawn to. Their joyful and sentimental faces, and how they interact with each other, their families, and their friends, is incredibly moving. To be part of that... there’s nothing better.

Cheers to a wonderful 2024 and could not be more excited for another ten 2025 couples to celebrate!!!

From iconic Chicago landmarks to fireworks at the Navy Pier, Emma and Austin’s wedding was a celebration of their city and love story shared with their family and friends!

✨ Welcome to the Friday Feature- every week I showcase one of YOUR bridal wardrobes to inspire future brides-to-be ✨

Emma and Austin’s wedding was all about embracing city chic in the heart of Chicago, the place where they first met and fell in love. Their weekend began with a rehearsal dinner at RPM Seafood along the Chicago River, their favorite date spot where Emma wore a white satin Abercrombie dress paired with Dolce Vita shoes. With most of their friends and family traveling from out of town, it was special for Emma and Austin to share the city they love and have their guests experience Chicago through their eyes!

Their big day was at the historic Chicago Athletic Association on Michigan Avenue, blending romantic glam with Chicago charm which fit the couples vibe perfectly. Before the ceremony, Emma and Austin did a first look in Lurie Gardens at Millennium Park which was a special private moment in the midst of the city bustle.

For the ceremony, Emma wore a Jane Hill gown paired with pink Manolo Blahnik shoes to tie in her pink wedding palette. Emma changed into an Amanda Uprichard dress and Schultz heels for their reception which featured an espresso martini ice luge that paid tribute to their Goldendoodle Maya. To top off the evening, they had the perfect view of the Navy Pier fireworks from the reception windows.
