Not the ending we hoped for, but so thankful for this team and the memories we’ve made together. Going to miss my seniors the ones I’ve grown up playing this sport with for all of these years!🫶🏻🥎

An era I truly wasn’t ready to say goodbye to. 😔

I couldn’t be more proud of these girls — 2nd Place District Champions and bringing home a plaque!!! What an unforgettable season. ❤️

Watching my girl out on that field, doing what she loves with the girls she loves most, has been one of my greatest joys. It’s hard to believe #6 is officially signing out and hanging up her jersey. 🥎

While my heart hurts knowing this chapter is over, I’m so thankful for every memory, every friendship, every lesson, and every moment this game has given her over the years. So proud of the player she became, but even more proud of the person she is. 🫶🏼

To my first baby girl…

This week, you had your very last day of high school, but all I can think about is that very first day I dropped you off at kindergarten. When I got back to the car, I sat there and cried like a baby because I wasn’t ready to send you off into the world.

You see, I was blessed enough to stay home and raise you and your siblings. I was there for every “first” and every “last,” even when we didn’t realize it would be the last. And let me tell you, I cherished every minute of it.

In just a few short months, I’ll have to send you off into the world again. This time, it’s for college, and you won’t be riding the school bus back home to me every day. But I have faith in the morals and values we’ve taught you along the way, and I know you’ll do just fine. There’s a big ol’ world out there waiting for you.

You’re going to be the best nurse, and I can’t wait to see the difference you make in the lives of the patients and families you’ll help someday. Just know Mama’s door is always open, and my phone is always on when you need to come home or call home.

I love you so much, Emma Grace. 🩷
