It’s been a month since I disembarked the MV World Odyssey for the final time and I’m still not sure that I have the words to describe this experience. But I have come to understand how extremely lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. Thank semester at sea for giving me the world. Ubuntu❤️

1 semester, 3 continents, 10 countries, and ♾️ cherished connections and memories.

Grateful to the people I’ve learned from; who have taught me in classrooms, hostel lounges, sleeper buses, writing centers, sunset hikes, and a comical amount of scintillating convos over McDonald’s. Grateful for the ones I’ve grown with!! (in laughter, tears, travel, studies, awe, and breached comfort zones.) No grill fry, library trivia, drink night, mango smoothie, cabin debrief, journaling session, Bib stud, Spicy Uno game, or late night chat could be enough.

Even though I can’t go back to the MV World Odyssey and life we shared for four months, I can turn the calling to “go” into something daily, whether it’s “going” across oceans or simply across the street to learn from others and make them feel known!

Remember, the world is our campus and learning is lifelong!!🫰🫰🫰 #voyage137 #ubuntu

106 days, 10 countries, 3 continents, and 1 semester I’ll never forget. I’m never going to have the words to fully describe this experience. I’m so beyond grateful to sas for showing me new perspectives and appreciation for our beautiful world. I can promise I’ll never stop talking about all the adventures and memories I made not only in port, but on the MV world odyssey.

Thank you @semesteratsea for changing my life! I love you voyage 137 🤍🚢 #ubuntu

4 months ago I embarked on one of the best experiences of my life. I will never truly be able to put into words how Semester at Sea has changed me. The people I have met and the memories I have made while traveling the world will forever stay close to me. Thank you SAS for showing me the world. The MV World Odyssey and the people on it will forever be my home. 137 always 🤍
