“BUT I CAN!”
oh man, what to say without rambling LOL!

this was my first time directing, writing, and producing an entire hour-long production, with live music, live dancing, and live acting, alongside the friends i’m most inspired by

and THE most vulnerable and confronting thing I have ever done in my entire life LOL, a complete homage to the past 25 years of my life so far and all the people who have been there along the way

with a HUGE thank you to WBTT and their young artist program, I was able to produce my own show from scratch, and present it to a live audience, in which I have been working on since september of last year, and finally presented it this past saturday to a sold out audience 🥹

every single scene, piece of music, skit, piece of choreography/freestyle, PROP, even the music that played before the show began and during intermission, was extremely intentional and very personal to me, showcasing as much talent as possible from the cast and crew, as well as all people in my life who has impacted me along the way; I even dedicated 3 songs to my mom, dad, and sister, who also joined me on stage

so if something really resonates with you, it was definitely a shoutout to you hehe

now I could type paragraphs on paragraphs about every single detail of this show, but that would be too long hehe

pursuing your dreams in the arts is hard enough, let alone when life throws things at you that you never imagined coming, so this is an homage to keeping on and never giving up on your child self’s dreams, so matter how hard it gets, or impossible it seems, and I’m so so proud that I was able to express this and share it with the world, and it is just the beginning

and to still do this despite completing breaking my left wrist only 8 weeks ago; I believe anything is possible with enough courage and determination

now it would be impossible to fit an hour showcase into an instagram post hehe, so if you’re interested in watching my life’s work up to this point, the link is in my bio; let me know what you think :)

thank you endlessly to everyone who made this happen, and to everyone in my life, I’m excited to keep going ☺️

LA was one for the books.🌴✨
I had the opportunity to travel to LA with my crew, Motiv Crew, and headline at the World of Dance Summit. Being able to perform on that stage, experience the atmosphere, and share so many moments with my crew was honestly surreal.
Getting to take @marleehightower masterclass and have Motiv Crew come on stage to demonstrate the choreography for the class was such a cool experience. Then getting called out and recognized in @amarimonster class?! Definitely a moment I won’t forget.💯
My biggest takeaway from this trip is realizing I got to be a part of something I grew up watching as a kid. World of Dance was one of the things that helped inspire my love for dance, so to now be on that stage myself is something I never would’ve imagined. Definitely a childhood dream come true.
Thank you @motivcrew for this opportunity.🧡🔥
