More to come still, but the @atlantafilmfestival is officially over, so here's a little more love for the second trip @juliadaighh and I took to be there for the end of it last weekend. I guess I just like posting videos where my hair looks like shit! Got to do an encore of our shorts block, went to the awards ceremony, made new friends. I ❤️ ATL

Encierro screens TOMORROW, Friday April 24th at THE Oscar-qualifying Atlanta Film Festival 🎬

Jane Negreira wrote this project with me in mind, and from the moment she shared it with me, I was drawn to her vision. We built this character together from the inside out
- truly an actor’s dream and one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had on set.

This film is a reflection of our waking nightmares and the fears so many women carry -
losing control of our bodies, our safety, & our futures.
I’m endlessly grateful for this process, this platform, & the incredible team behind this project.

This set became something really special, really quickly.
If you can, come watch with us 🤍

BTS - “Encierro” Costume Design 🎬👗
-
“Encierro,” meaning confinement, is a short film that delves into the fears many women face. Whether it’s the pressure to be perfect, the loss of control over our lives, rights, and bodies, or the fear of simply existing. Through an experimental lens, the film weaves together moments from a young woman’s life as she navigates these harsh realities.

Being part of this project alongside such a talented and passionate crew was an incredible experience. The support and dedication on set created a strong foundation to bring this powerful story to life. I’m truly grateful to have contributed as the Costume Designer.
