Mi "humilde" reseña... 🙂 #theboysofdungeonlane #mccartney A good friend told me he'd been reading great reviews of McCartney's new album and, of course, he turned to the biggest Beatlemaniac of all time—that's me—for my opinion. As I liked my answer, I'm sharing it...

His question was:

Putting aside your fandom, I know you're also neutral, is it really good?

Definitely, if you're new listening to The Beatles or Paul, I wouldn't recommend it. Musically, it's not their greatest album. However, without a doubt, it's a MASTERPIECE.

It's definitely McCartney's most introspective work. His lyrics are full of raw emotion, nostalgia, truth, and remembrance. They show a very natural and transparent McCartney, old and wise. They show the man, not just the rockstar, the legend, or the genius, but the human being.

Anyone could identify with his lyrics, which range from his pre-fame years to his perspective on his friends and parents.

A man who, at 84, continues to creating, innovating, and reinventing himself...

What more can a man who has already done it all do? And this album is the answer...

That's what makes it a masterpiece, a masterful work. A man who isn't afraid to reinvent himself or feel pressured to "be liked" or "make it big," although without a doubt, the album contains true musical gems that will surely generate a lot of discussion. Today, critics praise him, fans love him, and new generations are discovering him.

An album that could close his career in a truly brutal and brilliant way, making him feel fulfilled and complete. Knowing the great Sir McCartney, I have no doubt that he might still give us one or two more albums and, with a little luck, a tour.

Thank you for being part of the soundtrack of millions of people's lives. Great Genius, Great McCartney...
