Last Sunday, we had the pleasure of hosting Run to Rescue with @cococollieruns + @istandwithmypack — a first-of-its-kind run club with rescue dogs.

We brought together 50+ epic humans, rescue/neighborhood dogs, and local partners for a morning of movement designed to connect and advocate for high-energy animals in search of a home.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. And a special shout out to @_erikayang_ + @courtneyjdavis for their leadership and advocacy. It’s too easy to highlight all the great work you do to make the world a better place.

Our first Run to Rescue is officially in the books 💚🐕 We raised $12,000 for the rescue dogs + got 4 dogs adopted!!!

Run to Rescue has always been about giving rescue dogs — especially the high-energy ones who are so often misunderstood — a chance to be seen differently. To show the kind of bond that can form when we give our dogs an outlet, learn what they need, and experience life alongside them.

Seeing so many of you show up with your dogs to run, walk, meet our rescue pups, hear their stories, and spend the morning together made this first one more special than I could have imagined 🫶🏼

It takes a village to turn our idea into something real, and this one had a pretty incredible village.

💚 A HUGE thank you to:

@courtneyjdavis with @istandwithmypack — for trusting us with these incredible rescue pups and everything you did to help bring this event to life.

@thecanalmarket — for giving Run to Rescue a home and welcoming all of us (and a lot of dogs) into your space.

This was our first Run to Rescue.

I have a feeling we’re just getting started.

Life update: We are moving cities! 🏙️🐾

This move felt like such a huge lifestyle change for both of us, but @roadwaymoving made the entire process easier than I ever expected. 💖 A special shoutout to Alex, Jose, and Sebastian for taking such great care of us, and all our things, along the way.
