Training complete at the @pinelandsac 10km race this morning hopping onto the @ashraforrie Mr O’s bus and ending off strides and a cooldown.

Overall a good race and lekker vibe as usual for the Pinelands race. I can definitely see why it is a fan favourite as the course is flat and fast with one little speed bump around the 5km mark.

This race during this time of year is nice because it is a PB race whether it be cloudy or sunny out because the air is so cool in the morning. Add a good warmup to your pre race start up and you’re good to go.

I also got to see some familiar faces today which was so good as I haven’t seen a lot of them in a while.

Also can I just say having a club is so wonderful. Those post race treats are a vibe plus having a club gazebo to go to rocks!

That wac kit is looking 🔥 these days! 😮‍💨

42km. 1,879m vert. 8 hours in the mountain rain 🌧️⛰️

Sunday’s @puffer_ultra Recce Run from Noordhoek to Salesian Football Club in Green Point was a reminder of why we respect these mountains.

Two hours in, the weather turned and the rain came down heavy while we were deep in the mountains. From Vlakkenberg, through Constantia Nek, up past Maclear's Beacon, down Platties, and over Signal Hill to the finish, Erin, Sarah, and I stuck together through every single kilometer of wind, mud, and rain.

When the conditions get raw, the trail brings out the absolute best in community. So proud of how these two ladies pushed through to the end. Drenched, exhausted and cold, but finished at @greenpointsalesian_afc together 🤝⚡✌

Massive shoutout to @_erin_maxine_ and @ladylostris83 for being absolute troopers on the trail. This is what building the winter foundation is all about.

The road to the big targets continues. We keep moving🔨

Shoutout to @racefoodsa for supporting btches in the berge! 💃🏼⛰️🍫

They have generously supplied nutrition to the women representing BB, while pushing their boundaries at official races. We are so proud!

Racefood’s support continues to help us spread the message to fuel our bodies, especially as females in endurance sport.

Did you know they are a local business that started in Muizenberg!
And the bars are handmade in the Midlands?
Did you know the nougat is Wedgewood!

It’s #NationalBestFriendDay so here’s some #birthTRÈ photos of some of my bests, shot by one of my main bests, @ashherthe1 📸 (yes, she’s good at everything. Love that for her.) What can I say? The whole tribe is iconic.
