I don’t have the words to sum up how much this year has blessed me. The Lord has been and will continue to be so good. I’m so thankful I get to have this lifetime to spend with you, and I know we will always continue to wonder at the works of our Father and how incredible He is. I love you E, 27🥰

grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it - these moments that won’t ever come the same way twice & oh what a gift that makes them. If someone told me 4 years ago I’d feel this sadness about leaving here everyday for the rest of my life, I’d still choose it in an instant

Thank You God for giving me the strength and body to glorify You. None of this would be possible without You.

This weekend, I competed in New Orleans at Collegiate Nationals, going up against the best college powerlifters in the country. I went in with no expectations, just to have fun and glorify God, knowing it would be my last meet.

By His strength, I ended up hitting PRs on all my lifts and breaking all of my previous state records:

474 squat ⚪️⚪️⚪️
353 bench ⚪️⚪️⚪️
529 deadlift ⚪️⚪️⚪️

And I placed Top 15.

If you had told me that I was one of the top 15 strongest people in the nation in my division, I would’ve never thought you were being serious. I only started lifting because I heard some friends talking about bench press, so I found the nearest bench and tried it (failed 75 pounds my first time in the last video😭😭). I took that fail personally and that explains why I have only trained chest since then🥸.

Throughout this journey, God has placed so many incredible people in my life who have helped shape me into who I am today. I am beyond grateful for the friendships, connections, memories, and even the opportunities and businesses that have come from the gym. It is a reminder that God truly has a plan for everything.

Looking back, I’ve probably cut my life span 20 years short bc of the unhealthy amount of caffeine I’ve consumed with the dangerously amount of weight I put on my spine, but I would do it all over again for the memories and the people this journey has given me. I think I’m ready to hang up the singlet and put on the scrubs. Time to become a physical therapist so I can help these powerlifters in 30 years when their backs are hurting.
