How can she be engaged? She’s only 9 years old?!! Yesterday she was flipping around the yard pretending to be on “American Ninja Warrior”, being a mom to her umpteen “children” (American Girl dolls) that she took phenomenal care of because they were truly her children. We were not allowed to call them baby dolls. They were her babies. ☺️ And, oh, that sweet little speech impediment that was something we loved about Ele, but what gave others a weapon to degrade her. This Mama took care of that promptly though. And Ms. Robin at speech therapy was a gift from the Lord to Eleighana and within two weeks she was rolling those R’s and those bullies had nothing else to say! 😁 Didn’t this all just happen yesterday??? ☺️ I know. I know. It didn’t really. My baby’s life flashed before my eyes yesterday though when I saw that engagement ring 😍. I am so thankful to the Lord for her. He has given me two built in best friends with my girls. Eleighana has always been my little buddy and would never leave my side as a little girl. I have prayed for the girls’ husbands since the day the girls were born. To now know who the man is that I have been praying for all these 19 years since Eleighana was born is amazing. Ethan is a gift from the Lord to Eleighana and to our family. His parents have done a wonderful job raising him. He is responsible, respectful, hardworking, selfless, dedicated, loyal, God-fearing, kind, patient, self-controlled, loving, and humble. I’m so very thankful for this engagement and their future together! God is good, and what He does is good! ❤️

19! Eleighana Ranelle Ruhman. Last year of your teens! Where has the time gone? This past year you have matured into one of the finest godly young ladies I have ever known. Buddy, keep going! The future is bright! Draw close to the Lord. Cling to what is good. Have fun without sinning. And love God and love people! Happy birthday!
