I have a cervical spine injury (herniation c5-c6) that if left unchecked will incapacitate the left side of my body. Over the last week I’ve had a flare up, so working with @didonatosportslabs is essential for keeping my body intact and performing optimally. 1️⃣ Asses the range of motion of my neck, which lead back down the chain to my trunk. 2️⃣ Test my muscles in my trunk if they are able to resist force. 3️⃣ Work was done on my trunk (thoracic and lumbar spine). If my foundation is compromised it’ll greatly affect my cervical spine. 4️⃣ Reassess my neck to find improve range of motion and dissipation of discomfort. In order to reach peak performance sometimes we need to have a wider view on the body and help it heal. #respecttheprocess #bodyisatemple #fitness #healing #injuryprevention #injuryrecovery #muscleactivationtechniques #optimalhealth #training
