In the beginning there was sound, and the sound lifted us up. I am still processing the absolute success and victory of MettaSun ; a place, a planet, an invitation to imagine life thriving. It’s amazing to me that all these swirling ideas in my head ended up becoming a cohesive 30 piece ensemble performance. Initially I wrote the MettaSun story to give myself a permission slip to sonically visit the outer dimensions of sound via Sun Ra’s celestial music as well as to make sure that my choir @thevoicesofcreation was a part of this new chapter in my own journey. Thank you to every willing heart that said yes. I could not have pulled this off without you. @iamrezon @wavesbywayne @mmmalvidrezzz @bcord.wav @thereugotis @suitesweetz @aankhaneal @khyrahjoi @jamesbarmore @shafiqhusayn @ommaskeith @_everythingraw @thevoicesofcreation @grandperfs @jafrika @lexx_valdez @highfidelityla @runwayboutiquela @patchezclownz @cheekbonesandtattoos @channingross @lotus_nikki @ashantiliquyd

My upcoming music project was inspired by Sun Ra, June Tyson, and the power of the imagination. Stay tuned for more sneak peeks and sound transmissions from MettaSun.
Have you heard the first single “Somebody Else’s Idea”yet? Tune in and preorder your copy today!
