as my time as a younglife leader at prince edward high school and fuqua school comes to a close, i’m overwhelmed by emotions.

i came into college not having a clue what younglife was, but the second i learned i was all in. over my time in college i have spent so many summers at younglife camps, so many weekends doing work crew, and i’ve spent probably more time at fuqua and prince edward high school than i ever did on longwood universities campus bahah. i got the privilege of showing up in high school girls lives and not only being an example of the gospel, but also telling them all about who Jesus is.

to every girl at fuqua + prince edward that i have made connections with, i hope you know just how loved you are and how much of an impact you have had on my life. the hardest part of leaving farmville is this. leaving a ministry that has had such an impact on my faith and my life. this ministry has given me lifelong friends + sisters in christ. i’m so thankful.

this semester in farmville has been sweet and so kind to me. i have been gifted the best community i could ever ask for and im weepy thinking about how i have one more year left at longwood and leading high school girls at prince edward and fuqua!

i never thought i would grow to love farmville as much as i do!

thankful for a God Who sees.
thankful for a God Who knows my hurts, my scars, my past, my future, all that I am, & all that I will be.
thankful for a God Who still chooses me even when I fail Him over & over.
thankful for a God Who never gives up even when I lose all faith.

He knows you. When nobody else sees, He does. When you feel alone, He is there. When you go through trials, He is walking the road with you. He loves you & intimately cares for you beyond what any human could. Run to Him <3

it’s been decided that I’m gonna buy a $350,000 boat so we can have even more fun next time 😉

so thankful for this sweet family & how they welcomed me on their vacation! such special memories!
