Something unexpected happened on Creative Arts Emmy night.

We were interviewed by Danixa Diaz @iartists.tv, but somewhere along the way, the interview became a real conversation.

George and I shared parts of our story we rarely talk about publicly. How we met. Our fertility journey. Why we created Honey Nut & Cocoa. Building businesses while raising our three children. And even some of the very real things our family was carrying just hours before we walked into the Creative Arts Emmys.

Danixa simply asked questions and listened.

Then she told us something that stayed with us:

“Tell your story.”

She encouraged us to focus, build around one thing and even told us we should write a book.

She also shared a phrase that may have been intended as private encouragement just for us:

“Imitate. Emulate. Innovate.”

We’ve spent so much time living, parenting, surviving, creating and building that maybe we never stopped to realize that the journey itself is part of the story.

So we’re starting here.

George + Shima ❤️

"Eternity" is a reminder that real love goes beyond time, distance, and the physical.
