🎬 Sometimes, the first step is simply showing up.

For Alecia and her daughter, Eva, stepping into the AHA Acting Lab was their first experience with acting — and they walked away with more than just a new experience.

They saw Eva begin to push through her nerves, build confidence, explore her creativity, and discover different characters within herself. ✨

And they got to experience it together.

This is what the AHA Acting Lab is about: creating a space where young performers can prepare, practice, and position themselves while building confidence along the way.

💼 With every completed Lab, performers take home their self-tape to showcase their on-camera progress and continue building their portfolio.

✨ There’s still time to register for the September AHA Acting Lab!

For $135, participants receive all 3 sessions:

📅 Sat, Sept. 12 | 12–2 PM

📅 Sat, Sept. 19 | 12–2 PM

📅 Sat, Sept. 26 | 12:30–2:30 PM

🔒 Limited to 10 participants.

👉 Register now through the link in bio or scan the QR code. You can also visit https://www.artisticheightsacademy.com/offers/3QbDApKF/checkout to register!

Their next scene could start here. 🎬

#WorkshopWednesday #AHA | Your Audition Starts Before The Scene

Before you deliver a single line, casting is already watching. 👀

Your SLATE may only last a few seconds—but those few seconds can set the tone for everything that follows.

✨ Confident.
✨ Comfortable.
✨ Camera-ready.

A strong slate communicates: “I’m prepared. I’m present. I belong here.”

A rushed, nervous, or overly rehearsed slate? It can create a question mark before you ever get to the scene.

So don’t treat your slate like the thing you have to get through before the audition.

🔥 Your slate IS part of the audition.

Practice it. Get comfortable with it. Make it feel natural. And always follow the casting instructions for exactly what they want included. This is so key!

🎥 Want another set of eyes on your self-tape before you hit SEND?

Scan the QR code to try the AHA Creative Launchpad community FREE for 7 days and get feedback designed to help you sharpen your craft and strengthen your audition readiness.
