I wouldn’t know any of these people if I didn’t own a van.

So here’s how it happened. I made an Instagram and started blogging my adventures, I went to meet ups. Replied to messages and offered to meet up with new lovely people.

It’s a bit mad really. Through vanlife and Instagram I’ve built genuine friendships and networks. I’ve made core memories and met to some inspirational people this year.

This is only some clips from the last 3 months, since I cleared my phone I’ve meet so many more people this year, that I would have to make a reel 20 minutes long.

I may travel and work out of the van solo, but I’m not lonely. Looking back at the fantastic memories of this year one of my highlights and Van life’s greatest strength is the Van life community itself. Which consistently bands together to give support advice, and no judgement with however you choose to live.

So here is to putting the Vanlife in VanlifewithLuci and thanks to another year of making great new friendships!

Do you prefer to roadtrip solo or on a convoy?

I’ve made some friends through the vanlife community the last couple of years. I started going to festivals like @vanlifeeatsfestival and that’s where I met the @vidalocafamily and @lewisnyman

It’s been so fun to travel with these guys since I got to Spain over the past few weeks. I’ve also had the great pleasure of making loads of new friends and making good memories with those who share a love to travel and do it out of their vans!

I feel that sense of community as we are all away from family, so we are all in the same mindset with treating each other like our little travelling family! Sharing meals, time, and great conversation. It’s been amazing to make so many new friends and have so much social time on this trip! I bloody love this vanlife!! 🇪🇸 📸
