T-3 Carolina Clash

R1: Played a pretty solid round at Nest but just couldn’t get a good break it seemed. Missed some easier birdies bc of this.🤷‍♂️

R2: Had some trouble at Nevin getting off the tee well and had some trouble keeping the bogeys down. I got the eagle on the par 5 which was awesome and still got a decent bit of birdies.

R3: I started on hole 10 and just couldn’t get off the tee well or get a single good break. I would watch my card mates throw their shots and get lucky through branches/trees and when I threw, I would kick off the fairway. It was pretty demoralizing but I managed to hold it together a bit and know the front was score-able. On the front I missed two birdie chances on 1 & 4 but then I picked it up with a string of birdies 5-8, which climbed me back onto the podium.

I won the throw off for third place which brought me home the medal/ podium finish! 🏅

Huge thanks to my brother and mom for caddying for me this tournament. It was great to have y’all out there!
