Apparel Design | Collection ’26 | 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 | Editorial Photography | Ellia Baldwin @elliabaldwin⁣
⁣
She seeks to be captured, entrapped, and held in belonging, fully enveloped in the natural order of things, in her reverence for the land and the seasons. She values the stories that objects carry within and gathers them into relation as extensions of the self. Movement becomes evidence of change, interaction, and decay. Her work is tethered to a mode of observation and response. A wish to be swept downstream, through the land and beyond, out to sea. When pulled apart, she is no longer whole, left exposed in layers, the memories of her making laid out and decomposing; in this state, she is reconsumed. ⁣
⁣
“I’m drawn to natural forest environments, to the way materials form and change over time, how rocks are carved away, how things grow and reshape themselves. It’s really about noticing those shifts and piecing together a story of how the landscape has evolved. That’s how I work as well. I try to build and sculpt as though I am growing the garment, patching elements together as I go. It’s not a linear process, I don’t always know what a piece will become until it’s there. I follow what feels like the right solution in the moment, guided by a consistent rhythm and technique, even if the process itself is a bit messy.”⁣
