Why “Rhythm” Skating? It’s a question we’ve heard before…

…and it’s worth talking about.

For RSAC, “rhythm” isn’t meant to replace the names, styles, or identities that already exist within our skate culture. It’s the umbrella we use to describe what connects them: moving to music, interpreting rhythm, and expressing ourselves on skates.

That can look like:
• Style Skating
• Jam Skating
• Shuffle Skating
• Roller Dance
• Freestyle Skating
• Other emerging styles that skate to music

Each has its own history, language, and identity. We believe they can still exist under a shared umbrella without losing what makes them distinct.

So we want to hear from you:

When you hear “rhythm skating,” what does it mean to you?

Drop your thoughts in the comments. We want the conversation.

Color blind hairstylist……but it’s cute or whatever. 🙄😂💋

@_flagshipbaby has begged me for about a year now to get my hair done by her hairstylist. The one time I go, she had issues with her sink, showed up late, sink overflowing and she dyed my hair a completely different color than what I wanted.

I feel set up! I’m not supposed to be a redheaded troll. I was trying to be a light brown bombshell. So much for new beginnings. 🫠

Silver lining: Everything happens for a reason and it’s grown on me plus I’ve gotten a lot of compliments. 💁🏾‍♀️

But damn!

Have you ever gotten a hairstyle that you were so serious about and it came out totally different?
