Installing hardwood flooring is an art. Doing it well takes many years of experience. Hire a company who deeply cares about the craft and will stand behind the work for many years to come. #clevelandhardwoodrestoration

New unfinished 2.25” red oak added to existing to extend flooring into the new kitchen. Sanded on site and finished with oil base to match the rest of the house. Nice clean, organized jobsite by the GC @northgrain.cle

A candid shot of most of our crew by @thehardwoodhoney after our quarterly dinner meeting at the best pizza place around. Grateful for these people and this company that gives back everything we put into it and more ❤️

Before and after - new 2.25” white oak installed and expertly finished with golden oak stain and 2k satin finish. This last was the last floor our late co worker Connor did, we will treasure it forever.

Before and afters of this 1 common red oak floor made in a beautiful 1964 home on the iconic street Queen Anne’s Gate. We tried a few samples but ultimately natural won with Duo 2k as the final coat. My son Miles helped Brian with the refinishing. Lance reworked a few areas, did trim and added a transition.

We don’t always install prefinished wood floors, but when we do it’s got to be @sheoga_hardwood_flooring !

Why would a client choose prefinished over site finished install? Could be budget (prefinished is slightly less expensive), time (it goes down in one step) or the desire to see the product before it is installed (no uncertainty with color or finish style). No matter the reason, prefinished is a great option for some situations.

Some still from the Durango Tango Tackle Grapple Grappling League Car Kings Ultimate Battle 2026

I will post the rest of them in a little bit, the finals match is finally on YouTube between James and Kyle. So many good times we had over this tournament. I really enjoyed looking back at some of the moments that came up out of the tournament.

Before and after at the Hawken School — a truly special job, we’re so pleased with how this one turned out. A full install and finish of white oak in the chapel and a refinish of the original flooring in the adjacent hallway (not pictured but we promise it’s as satisfying as this) 💪

Remember that multi species job we started? Here’s the finished product — a glowing, multi species floor with unique character and interest. This floor required extra steps, like filling holes with epoxy, as well as picking and choosing the pattern to lay each board — regardless, we really enjoyed the challenge!

this staircase install on our multi species job was a challenge from start to finish — from uneven subfloor on the landing to a full redesign of the bottom two stairs which were loose and improperly framed. swipe for the process!
