Big day on the personal side of Hattink Homes Interiors - Tim and I put our save the dates in the mail!

Funnily enough, I met Tim through design! While mutual friends were busy setting us up romantically, @georgiahomegems was introducing us in a professional capacity. Falling in love on a job site was quite literally a dream! 
As a designer, I’ve been looking forward to planning my own wedding my whole life. Like most of my projects, it all starts with color - and then how to layer it with pattern and texture until the setting feels unique to us. The goal is formal-meets-fun, with bold details anywhere we can fit them! 
None of it happens without a fabulous team, starting with these save the dates! Cayenne envelopes, white exterior script, and so many little details that my designer brain is THRILLED. Save the dates are a guest’s first glimpse into a wedding, and @deareloise exceeded our hopes and dreams! More on these to come! 
The fun part about event design is you get to push design boundaries further than you usually would in a home. A house has to live well every single day - a wedding only gets to shine for one night, and we’re leaning in! 
I’ll be sharing wedding design details here as we go - the palettes, the paper, the florals, and all the tiny decisions that bring it together. Hope y’all are ready to come along for the ride!
