This must be the bourbon enthusiasts anthem. You gotta wait till the spouse is in the bathroom or asleep to sneak your whiskey inside. We’ve all been there.

🪙 Guardian Coins, Friendship & Whiskey 🥃 This week on The Whiskey Trip, I sit down with my good friend Nicholas Alphonso, founder of @guardian_coins . Nick and I were friends long before Guardian Coins became a sponsor of the show. This conversation is about friendship, service, the meaning behind challenge coins, and the stories we carry with us through life. Guardian Coins isn’t just about making a coin. It’s about honoring people, recognizing service, and creating something that tells a story long after the moment has passed. And of course, when two friends sit down on The Whiskey Trip, there’s going to be some whiskey and plenty of great conversation. 🪙 THIS WEEK’S GIVEAWAY We’re giving one lucky follower the Guardian Coins giveaway package featured in the episode! HOW TO ENTER: 🪙 Drop a coin emoji in the comments 👥 Tag 4 friends ❤️ Follow @guardian_coins & @thewhiskeytrip 👍 Like & share this post ▶️ Go to YouTube, watch the episode and leave a comment telling us about a friend who serves or has served and what their service is/was. 🇺🇸 21+ | U.S. only 🏆 Winner announced Monday evening This episode really comes down to one thought: “The greatest things we carry through life aren’t coins in our pockets or whiskey in our glasses. They’re the friendships forged along the way and the stories we leave behind.” — Big Chief 🎙️ Watch the full episode of The Whiskey Trip on YouTube. 🥃🪙 Take the Ride.

🥃 THE CHIEF’S POUR REVIEW I wanted to love @heavenhilldistillery Double Mash Bottled-in-Bond… but did Heaven Hill miss with this one? At 9 years old and 100 proof, there’s plenty to like, but a noticeable bitterness on the back end kept it from getting where I wanted it to go. The Chief’s Score: 80/100 — TRY FIRST 🥃 I picked it up at @space_city_liquor in Houston for $55. Remember, this is my palate. Your pour may tell a completely different story. 🎥 Watch the full review on YouTube and tell me: Did Heaven Hill miss?
