For most of us, the Fourth is fireworks and cookouts. For Thomas Olmsted, it’s something heavier.
Eight years out of the Navy, and he still stands at full attention for every anthem.
This Fourth of July, our guest, Navy SEAL Thomas Olmsted — reminded us that the freedom we celebrate wasn’t handed to us. It was earned. Paid for by people who put it all on the line so the rest of us could grill burgers and watch the sky light up.
He said it best: “I wish we lived every day with the same enthusiasm we have for this country on the Fourth.” 🇺🇸
So today, remember the flag. Remember the cost. And remember the ones who aren’t here to celebrate with us.
Happy Fourth. Earned, not given.

I’m going to try to not cry posting this one…

Gabbie and I have known each other since we were 16 years old when we worked a shitty retail job together. what teenage us didn’t know is that Gabbie would go on to become one of BBPs OG clients. I have shot G&P for the last seven years!!!! from dragging them to random locations at sunrise to shooting their engagements and now finally their wedding, they have seen every single second of BBP grow.

it honestly did not hit me, how special my relationship with Gabbie is, until I delivered their wedding this week. after she looked at her wedding gallery, G sent me some of the first ever photos I took of them (seven WHOLE years ago). not only could you see how much they had grown as a couple but how much I have grown as an artist. to have one client (and their entire family, lol y’all are stuck with me FR) continue to trust me as I have developed into the artist I am today… is something I do not take lightly.

Gabbie, I love you. thank you for believing in me long before I ever did. annnnddddd cue the water works.
